CanSAGE members present at 10th Congress of the SEUD in Geneva

CanSAGE members planned and led the two-hour Canadian session

CanSAGE had a prominent presence last month at the 10th Congress of the Society of Endometriosis and Uterine Disorders (SEUD) in Geneva, Switzerland.

CanSAGE President Dr. Jamie Kroft and Dr. Sarah Maheux-Lacroix served as co-Chairs of the Canadian session at the conference. The two-hour session featured presentations from Dr. Maheux-Lacroix and Dr. Mathew Leonardi focusing on the imaging modalities, diagnostic criteria and optimal reporting of cesarean scar defects, endometriosis and adenomyosis, with discussion centred on how findings could impact surgical approaches and outcomes.

For each pathology, cases in which pre-operative imaging had been decisive on the surgical planning were presented.

“There was a great audience with many Canadians and non-Canadians,” said Dr. Maheux-Lacroix.
